Feeling fantastic

I had the best sleep last night and yes that's worth blogging about! Sleep completely rejuvenates and I thank God for it. I woke up ready to take on the world! Now I'm ready to take a nap...LOL! Let's just say that even with the wonderful night's sleep, I still have a sleep deficit to make up.

Pastor Koby was such a huge blessing to me yesterday. Her wise words played a great deal in my being able to get to sleep last night. I've been so disappointed with doctors giving me the run around and not being able to diagnose my symptoms. I called Pastor Koby in despair and she gave me sound instruction. I got even more info online and at least now I know what I'm dealing with and how to manage and it worked.

Nowadays, I find myself saying more and more that Nana was right. She took herbs, dranks some really smelly teas and lived to be 94 years old. Yes, genes play a role in longevity but I'm certain her committment to holistic approaches helped defy the aging process. Because like Nana, I'm not a real big fan of taking medications! Elgin and I always marvel at the drug commercials, specifically when they start naming all the side effects and possible complications of their new wonder drug. I ask is it really worth it? But I'm not the person experiencing whatever it is the drug is supposed to fix and all those risks may be worth it to that person.

That ends my medical rant; I'm off my soap box now...LOL!

Today is my friend Karen's birthday! This woman has been such a blessing to my life and I wanted to take this time to let her know that! Happy Birthday Ms. Karen!

I'm excited about tomorrow. I'm ready for worship! I'm ready for whatever God wants to do...or so I think! Woohoo!

Enjoy the weekend everybody!

Sorry to hear that you are having some health issues..guess I missed that somewhere.
I am with you on all the meds on the market. When I hear of the side effects...I just have to laugh....You might die but hey! your cholesterol will be lower.:)
What have we come to?
I am glad you found some peace in your conversation. And I do think that God supplied all we need here...we probably left a lot of that info behind when "we" thought we knew better than the generations that came before us.
Yes, this is a soap box type subject. :)

Have a restful weekend..full of the presence of our Lord.

Ms. Sharon you have me in stitches! Dead but my cholesterol numbers have never been better! LOL!

And I'm not shunning grandma's remedies...well except for the one that says to put butter on a burn! OMG that was painful.
